Job summary

The Leon County Health Department is seeking a Network Systems Analyst to support desktop and network systems across the Leon County Health Department and Capital Consortium IT Regional office. You will provide Tier 1 and 2 technical support, manage and secure network infrastructure, and administer physical and virtual machines.

This role requires travel up to 75% daily across counties. Ideal candidates have strong problem-solving skills and experience with Windows, Active Directory, and VPN

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of hands-on desktop support experience in a business environment.
• 2 years of direct end-user interaction and ticket-based support experience.
• Windows 10/11 troubleshooting, configuration, and support.
• Active Directory basics including password resets and group membership.
• Basic networking knowledge including IP addressing, network connectivity troubleshooting, and VPN basics.

The Network Systems Analyst supports the technical and administrative work for computer and network systems at the Leon County Health Department and Capital Consortium Information Technology Regional office. The role provides Tier 1 and 2 technical support, manages network infrastructure, administers physical and virtual machines, and maintains IT assets across multiple counties. This position requires daily travel up to 75% of the time.

Key qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of hands-on desktop support experience with Windows-based workstations in a business environment
• 2 years of direct end-user interaction (in person and remote) and ticket-based support experience
• Windows 10/11 troubleshooting, configuration, and support
• Active Directory basics including password resets and group membership
• Basic networking knowledge including IP addressing, network connectivity troubleshooting, and VPN basics
• Experience working in ticketing systems and ability to prioritize work based on impact and urgency
