Position Title: Computer Network Technician, Permanent Support Staff
Level of Employment: Support Staff – CRESPA
Employment Classification: Full Time – Non-Exempt (Hourly)
Reports to: Director of Educational Innovation and Strategic Engagement
Network Technicians provide complex, technical support for computer and network systems, carrying out novel and/or complex assignments that require developing new or improved techniques and procedures. The Network Engineer will primarily support the network infrastructure, including Windows servers, Exchange, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, WINS, SharePoint, .NET, ADO, Terminal Services, Citrix, SMS, MOM, and Veritas backup. Responsibilities also include day-to-day maintenance of the network, wireless network, Call Manager, and VoIP telephones, along with installation and configuration of new servers and network equipment.

This is a full-time, 261-day position, primarily Monday through Friday, with possible evening/weekend work as needed.
Additional paperwork includes arrest/conviction reports, PA Sexual Misconduct/Abuse Disclosure (Act 168), health forms, and TB test results.
