Job summary

The Bank of Missouri is seeking a Network Support Technician to ensure the network runs efficiently. You will perform maintenance, installation, and upgrades of network equipment, and assist users with system operations.

Qualifications

  • An associate's degree in a computer-related field or equivalent experience.
  • Strong ability to diagnose and resolve network issues and assist users promptly.
  • Familiarity with routers, switches, firewalls, and related devices; willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

  • Maintains system, installs new units, and makes modifications to the network system as required.
  • Performs diagnostic tests to ensure integrity of system and upgrades network equipment on a regular basis.
  • Installs and maintains peripheral devices, including routers, switches, firewalls, and other network devices.
  • Collaborates with network engineer to review hardware/software needs and recommend changes and upgrades.
  • Keeps up with technology developments through training courses and publications.
