Job summary

The National Reconnaissance Office in Chantilly, VA seeks a senior Networks Division Chief to lead the NSG Networks Program Manager function, overseeing over 10 government staff and 550 contractor FTE across space-ground connectivity programs.

This leadership role requires expert program management, systems engineering, RMF cybersecurity, and effective coordination with IC partners and DoD stakeholders to deliver secure, reliable enterprise network services.

Qualifications

• PM/COTR Level II certification (or ability to obtain within 6 months)
• Demonstrated skill in applying program management and systems engineering principles and practices to successfully achieve program goals
• Working knowledge of NIST RMF and ability to oversee RMF steps 1-6
• Understanding NSG governance forums and decision-making processes
• Demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical and programmatic information effectively
• Demonstrated ability to lead, enable, and develop assigned personnel across government and contractor teams

Responsibilities

• Oversee acquisition programs and projects with a large government and contractor team
• Manage network connectivity across space intelligence locations and processing sites
• Lead NSG-wide systems engineering activities including RMF, RFCs, and readiness management
• Communicate with internal and external partners including IC, DoD, and Congress
• Coordinate with mission partners and represent NSG at high-level meetings
• Appoint a primary ISO for RMF and cybersecurity controls
• Manage lifecycle of network assets and services to ensure reliability and security
• Support incident management, trend analysis and service improvement initiatives
