Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services in Plano, TX seeks an experienced Network Security Engineer to design, implement, and optimize secure application delivery. You will work with F5 BIG-IP, Zscaler, Infoblox, and Palo Alto firewalls to safeguard critical infrastructure and ensure high availability.

The role requires 10+ years in security engineering, strong networking fundamentals, and scripting skills (Python/Ansible) to automate operations and improve efficiency.

Qualifications

• Experience: 10 years in network security engineering or similar roles.
• Infoblox: hands-on DDI/IPAM administration.
• Zscaler: knowledge of ZIA, ZPA, PAC files, and DLP engines.
• F5: BIG-IP LTM/GTM administration including iRules and SSL certs.
• Firewalling: Palo Alto Networks experience preferred.
• Networking: TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, DNS.
• Automation: scripting with Python/Ansible.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and troubleshoot F5 BIG-IP LTM/GTM for high availability and performance.
• Implement and manage Zscaler ZIA/ZPA to secure access and enforce policies.
• Deploy and manage Infoblox DNS/DHCP/IPAM solutions.
• Configure Palo Alto firewalls to enforce security policies (NAT, zones, threat prevention).
• Maintain PAC files, SSL inspection policies, and troubleshoot traffic flows.
• Create and maintain network documentation and change-management procedures.

Roles & Responsibilities

• F5 Load Balancing & Application Delivery: Design, configure, and troubleshoot F5 BIG-IP LTM (Local Traffic Manager) and GTM (Global Traffic Manager) to ensure high availability, security, and performance of critical applications.
• Zscaler Security Suite (SASE): Implement and manage Zscaler Internet Access (ZIA) and Zscaler Private Access (ZPA) to secure user access and enforce policies for web traffic and private applications.
• Infoblox DDI Management: Deploy and manage Infoblox DNS, DHCP, and IP Address Management (IPAM) solutions. Responsible for core network functionality.
• Firewall & Security Policy: Configure and manage enterprise firewalls (e.g., Palo Alto Networks) to enforce network security policies, including NAT, zone-based firewalling, and threat prevention.
• Operational Excellence: Administer PAC files for proxy traffic routing, maintain SSL inspection policies, and troubleshoot network traffic flows.
• Documentation & Compliance: Create and maintain network documentation, including diagrams, configurations, and change management procedures, ensuring audit readiness.

Base Salary Range : $120,000 to $135,000 Per Annum
