Job summary

Horizontal Talent is seeking a hands-on security professional to support network security tools and infrastructure. You will troubleshoot VPN access, proxy services, zero trust network access, and firewall platforms while delivering clear end-user communication.

You will help with backend and infrastructure duties to keep security systems stable and perform root-cause analysis on incidents. The role offers remote or hybrid flexibility within US daytime hours.

Qualifications

• Provide L2/L3 support for network security tools and infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot VPN, proxy, zero trust network access, and firewall issues.
• Communicate clearly with end users during technical issues.
• Support backend/infrastructure to maintain security systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide second- and third-level support for network security tools and related infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues involving VPN access, internet proxy services, zero trust network access, and firewall platforms.
• Support end users with technical issues while delivering clear, helpful communication.
• Assist with backend and infrastructure support to maintain the stability and performance of security systems.
• Work through incidents and escalations with a strong focus on problem-solving and root-cause analysis.
• Participate in two interview rounds, including technical and management discussions.
• Work in a US daytime schedule with remote or hybrid flexibility.
