Job summary

Horizontal Talent is seeking a hands-on security professional to support network security tools and infrastructure. You will troubleshoot VPN access, proxy services, zero trust network access, and firewall platforms while delivering clear end-user communication.

You will help with backend and infrastructure duties to keep security systems stable and perform root-cause analysis on incidents. The role offers remote or hybrid flexibility within US daytime hours.

Qualifications

Join a team focused on strengthening network security by supporting critical technologies that help protect users, applications, and infrastructure. This role is ideal for a hands-on security professional who enjoys solving complex issues, improving service reliability, and working across VPN, proxy, zero trust network access, and firewall environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide second- and third-level support for network security tools and related infrastructure
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues involving VPN access, internet proxy services, zero trust network access, and firewall platforms
• Support end users with technical issues while delivering clear, helpful communication
• Assist with backend and infrastructure support to maintain the stability and performance of security systems
• Work through incidents and escalations with a strong focus on problem-solving and root-cause analysis
• Participate in two interview rounds, including technical and management discussions
• Work in a US daytime schedule with remote or hybrid flexibility

Skills

• Hands-on experience supporting Zscaler, including ZIA and ZCC
• Strong troubleshooting skills in network security and operational support
• Experience with Cisco AnyConnect VPN support
• Ability to support F5 proxy environments, including BIG-IP
• Familiarity with Check Point firewall support
• Excellent end-user support and communication skills
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with technical teams

Preferred Skills

• Prior experience supporting multiple security tools in an enterprise environment
• Background in infrastructure or systems support related to security platforms
• Exposure to zero trust network access solutions
• Strong documentation and follow-through habits
• Adaptability in a fast-paced support environment
