Job summary

Ren is seeking a Network and Security Engineer to design, implement, and maintain secure network infrastructures across on‑prem, cloud, and hybrid environments. The role emphasizes hands-on work and growth in both networking and security, with responsibilities spanning incident response and policy enforcement.

You will work across routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and cloud resources, aligning with CIS Benchmarks and industry standards while supporting cross‑functional teams and on‑call

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in network engineering or network security.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, and routing/switching.
• Hands-on with cloud networking and secure configuration (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Experience with VPN, IDS/IPS, and basic SIEM/log analysis tools.
• Scripting or automation skills (Python, Ansible, Terraform).

Responsibilities

• Implement, configure, and maintain network infrastructure and security controls.
• Support network security operations including firewall rule management and VPN config.
• Define and enforce network security policies and standards.
• Secure cloud infrastructure components and perform cloud configuration audits.
• Monitor for anomalies and participate in incident response and remediation.
