Job Description:

Apex Systems is hiring for a Network Security Engineer role to start work with our healthcare client.

Job details:

• Contract Duration: 12-month contract-to-hire role
• Expected Start Date: May 2025
• 100% Remote role - equipment will be provided by the client
• Client does not have a time zone preference

Responsibilities:

• Apply cybersecurity and privacy principles to organizational requirements related to confidentiality, integrity, availability, authentication, and non-repudiation on key network security and netflow security tools.
• Analyze, streamline, and automate operational tasks to protect network infrastructure and build security systems.
• Define and maintain network security standards and technologies to ensure conformance.
• Develop scripts in Python and work with firewalls daily to enhance security operations.

Qualifications:
