Job Description: Sr Network Security Engineer

Responsibilities:

1. Build and maintain relationships with team members and stakeholders.
2. Manage day-to-day operations and maintenance of the Enterprise Network.
3. Serve as an escalation point for NOC/SOC teams.
4. Mentor junior associates in network technology.
5. Participate in maintaining guidelines, policies, and supporting client and operational concerns.
6. Collaborate with the bank's Enterprise Technology team.
7. Engage in community and business functions to promote the bank's positive image and establish referral contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with Cisco Routing & Switching configuration and troubleshooting.
• Ability to configure Cisco catalyst or nexus switches for full production.
• Experience with Juniper Routing & Switching configuration and troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in administering Infoblox NIOS, SolarWinds, and Meraki cloud-managed switches.
• Strong understanding of BGP, route maps, VLANs, and security configurations.
• Experience with enterprise network monitoring and troubleshooting network outages.
• Ability to work well with others, including vendors, and willingness to travel infrequently.
• Understanding of layers 1-4 of the OSI model.

Desired Skills:

• Experience with HPE Aruba wireless deployments, Cisco ThousandEyes, Cradlepoint, F5 Load Balancing, Palo Alto firewalls, AWS/Azure networking, SDWAN, and packet capture analysis.

Work Environment:

We value our associates as our greatest asset. This is a remote role, but candidates must reside in the KC area for occasional office visits. The position may require on-call duties and work during approved outage windows.
