Job summary

Tundra Technical Solutions is seeking a Shoreside Senior Network Data and Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM) resource to support the customer在Seattle on shoreside operations. You will review LAN/WAN architecture, plan upgrades and IP schemes, and design high-availability for nonstop service.

Responsibilities include installing devices, hardening security, maintaining diagrams and runbooks, testing connectivity, and coordinating with third-party vendors to ensure secure CUCM telephony

Qualifications

• Review and assess LAN/WAN architecture for topology, performance, and risks
• Develop network upgrade plans and scalable IP addressing (IPv4/IPv6, subnetting, VLANs)
• Design high-availability with redundancy and failover mechanisms
• Install and deploy switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless infrastructure
• Configure routing and device failover, validate failover scenarios
• Perform firewall hardening and security best practices
• Implement network segmentation (VLANs, ACLs, firewall-based)
• Maintain network diagrams, configs, IP documentation and runbooks
• Test connectivity, performance, failover, and security compliance
• Provide documentation and knowledge transfer for operational readiness
• Network hardening per GCS policy
• Remediate security vulns from PEN tests and RAAS findings
• Monitor, maintain and support HAL/SBN shipside CUCM telephony
• Engage stakeholders like Third-Party Vendors during troubleshooting
• Compensation: $43.46/hour - $67.90/hour

Job description

The Shoreside Senior Network Data and Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM) resource will perform the following tasks and activities under the general direction of the Customer

Responsibilities:

Review and assess existing LAN/WAN architecture, including topology, performance, and potential risks

Develop network upgrade plans and scalable IP addressing schemas (IPv4/IPv6, subnetting, VLAN strategy)

Design network redundancy and failover mechanisms to ensure high availability (HA) and minimal downtime

Install and deploy network devices including switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless infrastructure

Configure redundancy protocols (routing failover, device clustering) and validate failover scenarios

Perform firewall hardening, including rule optimization, access control, and security best practices

Implement network segmentation (VLANs, ACLs, firewall-based segmentation) to enhance security and traffic isolation

Update and maintain network diagrams, configurations, IP documentation, and runbooks

Conduct testing for connectivity, performance, failover, and security compliance

Provide documentation, reporting, and knowledge transfer to support operational readiness

Perform Network Hardening as per GCS policy

Remedy any security vulnerabilities identified in PEN Tests and RAAS findings

Monitor, maintain[HB1] [AS2] and support HAL/SBN shipside CUCM telephony

Responsible[HB3] [AS4] for engaging required stakeholders like Third-Party Vendors or service providers during troubleshooting.

The pay range that the employer in good faith reasonably expects to pay for this position is $43.46/hour - $67.90/hour. Our benefits include medical, dental, vision and retirement benefits. Applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis.
