Capgemini is seeking a Solutions Engineer for the Core Networks domain to deliver end-to-end designs aligned with the current network architecture. You will collaborate with global teams to meet project objectives and apply strong communication to convey complex solutions.
You will work with Cisco, F5, Fortinet, Juniper and Checkpoint technologies, create low level designs, manage delivery, and ensure regulatory requirements are met. The role offers a pay range and comprehensive benefits.
Proven detailed experience in designing mid to large-scale network solutions
Capable of bringing together expert knowledge from across the organization and consolidating into a cohesive end-to-end solution
Strong communication and presentation skills for conveying complex solutions effectively.
Experience collaborating within virtual teams in a complex network environment
Comprehensive technical knowledge of major network infrastructure components utilized within the Barclays group (including data networks, firewalls, and load balancers).
In Depth knowledge of routing protocols like EIGRP, OSPF and BGP
Practical experience with Cisco products like Cisco ACI, Nexus platforms, Firepower/ASA.
Expertise in F5 BIG-IP load balancers and virtualization platforms (VMware/AWS).
Experience with Fortinet Fortigate, Fortimanager, Fortianalyzer and Cisco ASA firewalls.
Familiarity with Juniper and Checkpoint firewalls.
Serve within the Connectivity Delivery Center to ensure efficient project delivery in the Core Networks domain
Collaborate with Project Managers to create Low level design for the project by following engineering standards.
Solutions Engineer is responsible for ensuring that any designs produced are in line with the current network architecture and infrastructure strategy documentation and are fit for purpose.
Be responsible & manage end-to-end delivery of assigned project tasks
Work with global teams to achieve desired outcomes.
Contribute to risk management and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and mandatory policies.
Address audit findings and issue assurances thoroughly.
Take full ownership of ensuring that complex and critical infrastructure component strategies align with business needs and budget constraints.
Contribute to the definition of infrastructure strategy and policy.
Support the Leadership / Network Engineering in aligning network infrastructure initiatives with the strategic roadmap.
Working with designers, Project Service Architects and Architecture, Governance & Standards for input and to understand and influence changes in architectures policies and strategy.
Candidate will work with client internal stakeholders and with external vendors to achieve his project objectives.
Timely update and whenever necessary timely escalation of issues to right stakeholders.
Accurate estimation of workload and timelines for delivery. Decision-making and Problem Solving
Candidate should have excellent analytical skills and problem-solving capabilities.
Apply strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, exercising sound judgment to enhance project outcomes and prevent delays.
Ensure all activities are conducted in full compliance with regulatory requirements, the Enterprise-Wide Risk Management Framework, and internal client policies and standards.
The pay range that the employer in good faith reasonably expects to pay for this position is $38.14/hour - $59.59/hour. Our benefits include medical, dental, vision and retirement benefits. Applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis.
