Job summary

Adecco is seeking a Network Operations staffer for a 12‑month, onsite assignment in New Brunswick with one day of remote work. Typical pay ranges from $35.00–$40.00 per hour, with standard M-F 8:30–5 schedule.

Responsibilities include installing switches, patching ports, supporting deployments, and basic troubleshooting. Candidates should have basic networking knowledge and own transportation to nearby campuses in New Brunswick and Piscataway.

Qualifications

• Basic networking knowledge (VLANs, ports, subnets, cabling)
• Ability to read network diagrams
• Familiarity with rack units (RU), power distribution, UPS/PDU systems
• Safe handling of fiber and power
• Basic CLI familiarity (Cisco, Juniper)

Responsibilities

• Install network switches and UPS devices; patch end-user ports to switches
• Assist network engineers in deployments
• Perform basic network troubleshooting
• Conduct site readiness checks and surveys for installation; power up devices and verify status
• Escalate configuration issues to network engineers
