Akkodis is seeking a Network Operations Specialist for a 6-month contract with a client in Canonsburg, PA 15317 - Remote.

Title: Network Operations Specialist

Location: Canonsburg, PA 15317 - Remote

Contract: 6-month contract

Pay Rate: $35-$40/hr (The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.)

Job Description

Top Skills Needed: Excel, GIS experience with processing and reading construction drawings. This role will support backlogs.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze and manage NRS (Network Records Systems) data and related relationships to internal platforms, utilization, contracts, and financial data to ensure proper downstream reporting and interpretation within/between all systems.
• Analyze data from NRS applications to determine asset relationships between new sales proposals and existing outside plant to ensure proper application of Customer Contract terms related to asset use.
• Perform quality checks on data to ensure asset integrity and resolve data conflicts to maintain compliance.
• Provide technical support to the user base including Engineering, field teams, NOC, and Change Management via phone, email, or Helpdesk ticket.
• Lead special projects involving customer requests, data reconciliation, system integrations.
• Review Small Cell construction engineering drawings and data to identify data changes and needs for asset databases.
• Enter and manipulate data in Geographic Information System (GIS) applications as needed.
• Work closely with RF engineers and field operations personnel to QC asset data, resolve conflicts, certify information, and update GIS database.
• Coordinate solutions in accordance with asset policies, standards, and procedures to maintain compliance and maximize asset yield.
• Respond promptly to tickets and work orders to ensure accurate data and provide maps and information as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned or required.

Education/Certifications:

• High School Diploma
• Associates or Bachelor’s degree in GIS, EE, Telecommunications, Accounting, or related field, or equivalent experience/training.
• 1-5+ years of experience working in an asset NRS or related system.
• 1-3+ years of experience with GIS, asset databases, and tools preferred.
• Experience in 1.0 Process and reading construction drawings preferred.
