This is a 12+ month contract position with potential for conversion, based in Abilene, Texas. The role requires working on a rotating shift schedule (8‑12 hour shifts), including day/night, weekend, and holidays.

Base pay range

$40.00/hr - $45.00/hr

Responsibilities

• Experience with physically installing network racks, mounting servers in the racks, connecting all Ethernet and power cords, and neatly routing/tying cables to the rack per the schematics and plans provided. 6+ years of experience.
• Install, remove, and troubleshoot network hardware in data center racks without disturbing other hardware and critical infrastructure.
• Maintain asset inventory and update internal application as needed.
• Data center networking knowledge.
• Be able to work on a shift schedule that rotates (8 to 12‑hour shifts), including weekends and holidays.
• Provide occasional travel based on business requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or relevant experience.
• Experience in structured cabling copper/fiber and testing of cables.
• Experience in data center infrastructure projects.
