Senior Technical Recruiter || KTek Resourcing

Rate: $25/hr - W2

Responsibilities & Skills

• Install racks, patch panels, fiber optic, hardware, grounding, and fan-out kits
• Terminate all fiber types/connectors (LC, SC, ST, FC, FDDI, SMA, MPO/MTP), jumper cords, indoor/outdoor fiber
• Perform mechanical & fusion splicing, building entrance, maintenance, and direct-buried splices
• Test and troubleshoot fiber using OTDR, Fluke, EFXO; identify end-to-end issues
• Calculate loss budgets per TIA/EIA standards; maintain accurate documentation
• Provide onsite support, travel to sites, participate in on-call rotation

Physical & Mental

Work at heights, confined spaces, lift/move up to 75 lbs, distinguish colors, read small print, hear signals; self-motivated, professional, problem-solving, critical thinking, communication

Education & Certifications

High School/GED; 3–5 years fiber experience preferred; industry certs (Corning/FOA/BICSI); data center, OSP, confined space experience preferred
