Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience.
• 2–5 years directly related network administration and support experience.
• Intermediate experience in design, maintenance, and operation of medium to large networks.
• Security+ and Cisco/MS certs or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes, administers and maintains voice, video, and data networks.
• Manages usage and performance of voice, video and data networks.
• Maintains network security and ensures policy compliance.
• Evaluates hardware and software including peripheral equipment.
• Develops and implements network procedures and standards.
• Leads major network installations and upgrades.
• Interfaces with vendors to resolve network outages.
• Develops testing strategies and documents results.
• Provides advice and training to end-users.
• Troubleshoots and resolves complex network problems.
• Keeps knowledge current on relevant hardware/software.
