Job summary

NextGen | GTA: A Kelly Telecom Company in Houston, TX is hiring 2 NOC Technicians for a 24/7 Network Operations Center. Hybrid work model requires 2 days in office—Wednesday and Thursday.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting complex network incidents and supporting voice, data/IP, VPN, MPLS, and more. The role demands 2–5 years of NOC experience, strong routing/switching knowledge (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF), and familiarity with equipment from major vendors.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of NOC or technical network support experience.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, VLANs, BGP, and OSPF.
• Experience with network equipment from Cisco, Juniper, Ciena, Adtran, or Fortinet.
• Experience with network monitoring/ticketing tools such as ServiceNow, ConnectWise, Netcool, or Zabbix.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, communication, and customer-service skills.
• CCNA, CCNP, Network+, or JNCIA certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex network incidents escalated from Tier 1.
• Support voice, data/IP, Internet, VPN, MPLS, hosted PBX, transport, optical/DWDM, and email issues.
• Monitor network performance, alarms, and event logs.
• Work with internal teams, field services, and external vendors to resolve issues.
• Provide technical updates to customers and maintain accurate ticket documentation.
• Provision and maintain routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Serve as an escalation point for challenging network issues and outages.

We are currently hiring 2 NOC Technicians to support a 24/7 Network Operations Center in Houston, TX.

No visa sponsorship is available. C2C/Corp-to-Corp candidates will not be considered.

• Tuesday–Saturday | 11:30 PM–7:30 AM
• Monday–Friday | 7:30 AM–4:30 PM
• Houston, TX
• Hybrid: 2 days in office – Wednesday & Thursday (required)

Key Responsibilities:
