Job summary

gFiber is seeking a Technical Program Manager for Network Facilities. This remote role supports a US-based base salary and bonus opportunities, focusing on leading strategic programs across infrastructure workstreams.

You will collaborate with executives to harmonize objectives, drive improvements, and develop technical roadmaps with engineering teams. You will define processes, mentor teams, and push for scalable, cross-functional solutions in a rapidly evolving environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in CS/Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years in a service provider or enterprise network with competency in core/access networking concepts (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, ELINE/ELAN/EVPN) and physical layer technologies.
• 2+ years of technical program management or equivalent experience leading complex, cross-functional programs.
• Expertise in building and maintaining effective program teams and establishing best practices for continuous improvement.
• Ability to travel domestically up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive strategic, ambiguous programs with cross product-area impact.
• Spearhead efforts to drive consistency, efficiency, and economies of scale across infrastructure workstreams.
• Partner with leadership across multiple functions to align objectives and drive collaborations.
• Build and implement innovative solutions to improve operational effectiveness and respond to change.
• Develop technical roadmaps and white papers with engineering stakeholders for data-driven decisions.
• Coach and mentor teams, establishing best practices for program management.
