Job summary

MLabs is seeking a Network Infrastructure Engineer to design, deploy, and optimize the physical and cloud network stack powering a massive AI data platform. The role emphasizes automation, security, and scalable infrastructure in a hybrid Ashburn setting.

You will drive IaC initiatives with Terraform and Ansible, work with AWS/GCP/Azure networking, and integrate DevOps practices across the deployment lifecycle to boost reliability and performance.

Qualifications

• Networking expertise designing networks and maintaining physical infrastructure.
• Automation (IaC) with Terraform, Ansible, or similar.
• Cloud experience on AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Containerization with Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes.
• Monitoring and logging with Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack.
• Strong problem-solving with focus on performance optimization and automation.
• Builder mentality in a fast-moving lean team environment.

Responsibilities

• Infrastructure Design and Implementation: design, configure, deploy networks, servers, switches, firewalls, apps; include data center deployments.
• System Configuration & Virtualization: configure servers, virtualization, and troubleshoot stack issues.
• Scalability & Security: ensure scalable, secure infrastructure meeting business needs.
• Network Management: configure routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs.
• Maintenance & Support: maintain servers, networks, infrastructure for uptime.
• Performance Monitoring: monitor and improve reliability, security, and scalability.
• DevOps Integration: collaborate with engineering to embed DevOps practices in lifecycle.
