Placements24 is seeking an experienced AI Infrastructure Engineer to design, deploy, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure for AI/ML workloads. The role emphasizes Kubernetes orchestration, CI/CD automation, and MLOps practices to support large-scale models and data pipelines.

You will collaborate with AI/ML engineers and data scientists, ensure security, monitor performance, and optimize systems for reliability and cost efficiency in a fully remote environment.

Qualifications

• BS in CS/Engineering or related field and 5+ years in cloud infra for AI/ML.
• Proven experience with AWS/Azure/GCP and managed Kubernetes services.
• Strong Docker/Kubernetes expertise and containerized workflows.
• Hands-on with CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform/Ansible).
• Scripting in Python or Bash; solid networking and security basics.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain scalable AI/ML cloud infrastructure.
• Operate container orchestration platforms (Kubernetes).
• Develop and automate CI/CD pipelines for ML models and infra (MLOps).
• Monitor performance, optimize for scale and cost.
• Ensure secure data storage and robust security measures.
• Collaborate with AI/ML engineers and data scientists.
• Troubleshoot complex issues in production.
