Job summary

Intec Select in Clearwater is expanding its technical field engineering team to support a growing MSP and serve a diverse customer base across the Tampa Bay area.

As a Network Field Engineer, you will install, configure, and troubleshoot network, server, and end-user infrastructure, travel to customer sites, and contribute to infrastructure refreshes and deployments.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a Field Engineer, Systems Engineer or Network Engineer role.
• Experience supporting Windows Server and Microsoft 365 environments.
• Active Directory, DNS, DHCP and Group Policy experience.
• Hands-on networking: TCP/IP, VLANs, DHCP and routing.
• Configuring and troubleshooting switches, firewalls and wireless networks.
• Familiarity with Cisco, Fortinet, Meraki, Aruba or Ubiquiti technologies.
• Experience with hardware deployment and infrastructure installations.
• Strong customer-facing and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites across Clearwater/Tampa Bay.

We're working with a growing Managed Service Provider (MSP) in Clearwater who are expanding their technical field engineering team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Network Field Engineer to work directly with a diverse customer base, supporting and delivering IT infrastructure projects across the Tampa Bay area.

Required Experience

• 3+ years' experience in a Field Engineer, Systems Engineer or Network Engineer position
• Strong experience supporting Windows Server and Microsoft 365 environments
• Experience with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP and Group Policy
• Hands-on networking experience across TCP/IP, VLANs, DHCP and routing
• Experience configuring and troubleshooting switches, firewalls and wireless infrastructure
• Familiarity with technologies from vendors such as Cisco, Fortinet, Meraki, Aruba or Ubiquiti
• Experience with hardware deployment, troubleshooting and infrastructure installations
• Strong customer-facing and communication skills
• Ability to work independently across multiple customer environments
• Previous experience working for an MSP, IT Services Provider or Consultancy preferred
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel to customer sites
• Competitive salary of up to $85,000
