Job summary

Set of X is seeking network systems engineers to support virtual learning and classroom network infrastructure. Candidates will troubleshoot network issues, implement STIG hardening, and optimize performance while adhering to security policies.

The role requires Cisco networking expertise, CCNA certification, Linux/Windows proficiency, and experience with VMware virtualization. Strong teamwork and ability to work under deadlines are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field; 8 years of network systems engineering experience required.
• CCNA certification required at a minimum.
• Familiarity with packet capture and network analysis tools is required.
• VMWare, VSphere, and VCenter experience is strongly desired.
• 4 years of experience can be substituted for a degree for total of twelve years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Support of virtual learning network infrastructure to meet course requirements.
• Support of classroom network infrastructure to meet course requirements.
• Troubleshooting of network issues and recommendation of network modifications to optimize performance while following security policies.
• Implementing STIG guidance, hardening and maintaining network systems.
