Job summary

MAXISIQ seeks a Network Engineer with an active Top Secret clearance to design, implement, and maintain LAN/WAN infrastructure for mission-focused programs. You will translate complex concepts for non-technical stakeholders and deliver briefings and documentation to government personnel.

The role is full-time and on-site near Quantico, VA, with a planned transition to Huntsville, AL in December 2027. Remote work is not available, and strong communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have knowledge of Cisco Routing and Switching and network architecture planning.
• Must have knowledge of remote administration and secure VPN.
• Must understand encryption standards and their application in IP networking.
• Must have knowledge of VPN technologies, OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, IP Multicasting.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Excellent analysis and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as within small and large groups.
• Familiarity GEMONE Taclane encryption management.
• Cisco Firepower.
• Cisco ISE DNA Center.

We are seeking a Network Engineer with an active Top Secret clearance to join our collaborative, multi-disciplinary team. This role requires deep expertise in network design, architecture, and operations, along with the ability to operate effectively in a mission-driven environment.

This is a full-time, on-site position located near Quantico, VA. The work location is expected to transition to Huntsville, AL in December 2027. Remote work is not available.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain Local Area Networks (LAN) and Wide Area Networks (WAN) in support of mission requirements
• Translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders
• Develop and deliver briefings, technical presentations, and documentation to government personnel
