Set of X is actively seeking engineers to support government contracting projects with a focus on robust network infrastructure and security. The team operates under stringent security policies and deadlines, demanding strong collaboration across staff, customers, and partners.

Responsibilities include maintaining learning and classroom networks, troubleshooting, and implementing STIG guidance. A TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required, and the compensation package features extensive

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field preferred.
• Eight (8) years progressively responsible network systems engineering experience required.
• CCNA certification required.
• Familiarity with packet capture and network analysis tools required.
• Knowledge of monitoring solutions required.
• VMWare/VSphere/VCenter experience strongly desired.

Responsibilities

• Support of virtual learning network infrastructure to meet course requirements.
• Support of classroom network infrastructure to meet course requirements.
• Troubleshooting of network issues and recommending modifications to optimize performance per security policies.
• Implementing STIG guidance, hardening and maintaining network systems.
