Job summary

Vibrint seeks a senior Network Engineer with TS/SCI and polygraph to design, implement, and secure datacenter networks for national security missions. You will manage Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, VPN IPsec, load balancers and related infrastructure.

Requirements include ten years of LAN network engineering experience (or 15 years in lieu of a degree), DoD 8570 IAT II certification, and strong knowledge of TCP/IP, L2/L3 protocols, and virtualization (VMware).

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline.
  • Minimum ten years of demonstratable experience in network engineering (LAN), architecture, monitoring, security, and protection or fifteen years minimum experience in lieu of degree.
  • DoD 8570 IAT II level certification.

Position requires an active TS/SCI with polygraph level clearance. US citizenship is required.
Required Skills:
  • MUST HAVE datacenter network design and architecture experience to include installation and configuration of Cisco routers, switches, firewalls and IPSEC virtual private networks
  • Cisco IOS, CatOS, NxOS, filter and access control, Ciscoworks, TACACS+, ASA, FWSM, HP Openview, Cisco routers, Cisco Switches, F5/Cisco load balancers, Infiniband, Juniper, FiberChannel (FC) SAN, and VPN (IPSEC)
  • Physical installation and configuration and troubleshooting of network routers, switches, load balancers and security devices.
  • Strong knowledge of TCP/IP protocol stack and routing and switching protocols.
  • Strong working knowledge of L2/L3 protocols.
  • Strong working knowledge of stateful firewalls, and L3 access controls.
  • Working knowledge of Atlassian Tool Suite.
  • Able to support on-call requirements.
  • Able to work in live call environment and utilize remedy and/or other ticketing system to track tasking.
  • Virtualization products; VMWare and Solaris containers
