Job summary

Vibrint seeks an experienced Network Engineer - Technical Expert to design, implement, and support datacenter networks supporting multi-vendor HPC environments. You will work on Cisco routers/switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPNs, and related security controls, with on-call duties and Remedy ticketing.

A TS/SCI with polygraph and US citizenship are required. The role emphasizes hands-on installation, troubleshooting, and optimization of network infrastructure within national security

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline.
• Minimum ten (10) years of demonstratable experience in network engineering (LAN), architecture, monitoring, security, and protection or fifteen (15) years minimum experience in lieu of degree.
• DoD 8570 IAT II level certification.

Responsibilities

• MUST HAVE datacenter network design and architecture experience to include installation and configuration of Cisco routers, switches, firewalls and IPSEC virtual private networks.
• Physical installation and configuration and troubleshooting of network routers, switches, load balancers and security devices.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP protocol stack and routing and switching protocols.
• Strong working knowledge of L2/L3 protocols.
• Strong working knowledge of stateful firewalls, and L3 access controls.
• Working knowledge of Atlassian Tool Suite.
• Able to support on-call requirements.
• Able to work in live call environment and utilize remedy and/or other ticketing system to track tasking.
• Virtualization products; VMWare and Solaris containers.

Job description

As a Network Engineer - Technical Expert on this program, you will help deliver enhanced HPC capabilities across multi-vendor HPC servers, HPC clusters, and specialized processing environments. Position requires an active TS/SCI with polygraph level clearance. US citizenship is required.

Required Skills:
