Job summary

Vibrint seeks a Network Engineer - Technical Expert to design, implement, and maintain datacenter networks across multi-vendor HPC servers and clusters, enabling secure, mission-critical analysis.

This role requires an active TS/SCI with polygraph, US citizenship, and a bachelor's degree with extensive experience in routing, switching, firewalls, IPsec VPNs, and virtualization. You will handle on-call duties and work in a security-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience.
• Minimum ten years in network engineering or fifteen years in lieu of degree.
• Active TS/SCI with polygraph and US citizenship required.
• DoD 8570 IAT II certification required.
• Experience with datacenter network design and multi-vendor HPC environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, install, and troubleshoot datacenter networks for HPC environments.
• Manage Cisco routers/switches, firewalls, and IPsec VPNs.
• Maintain network security, performance, and on-call responsiveness.

As a Network Engineer - Technical Expert on this program, you will help deliver enhanced HPC capabilities across multi-vendor HPC servers, HPC clusters, and specialized processing environments. You'll have the opportunity to grow your technical expertise alongside highly skilled engineers, collaborate with exceptional teammates, and directly contribute to missions that strengthen our nation's security. You'll also end your day knowing that you're doing work that truly matters.

Position requires an active TS/SCI with polygraph level clearance. US citizenship is required.

Required Skills:

• MUST HAVE datacenter network design and architecture experience to include installation and configuration of Cisco routers, switches, firewalls and IPSEC virtual private networks
• Cisco IOS, CatOS, NxOS, filter and access control, Ciscoworks, TACACS+, ASA, FWSM, HP Openview, Cisco routers, Cisco Switches, F5/Cisco load balancers, Infiniband, Juniper, FiberChannel (FC) SAN, and VPN (IPSEC)
• Physical installation and configuration and troubleshooting of network routers, switches, load balancers and security devices.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP protocol stack and routing and switching protocols.
• Strong working knowledge of L2/L3 protocols.
• Strong working knowledge of stateful firewalls, and L3 access controls.
• Working knowledge of Atlassian Tool Suite.
• Able to support on-call requirements.
• Able to work in live call environment and utilize remedy and/or other ticketing system to track tasking.
• Virtualization products; VMWare and Solaris containers

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline
• Minimum ten (10) years of demonstratable experience in network engineering (LAN), architecture, monitoring, security, and protection or fifteen (15) years minimum experience in lieu of degree.
• DoD 8570 IAT II level certification.

Must have datacenter network design and architecture experience to include installation and configuration of Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, and IPSEC virtual private networks.
