Job summary

Uline, a family-owned leader in shipping supplies, is seeking a Network Engineer Team Lead in Wisconsin to drive Data Center network design and reliability for its North American operations. You will lead a high-performing team, oversee design, implementation and optimization of data center networks and cloud environments, and steer adoption of new technologies like SD-WAN and zero-trust access.

This role partners with IT to align security, performance and business goals while mentoring

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT/CS or related field.
• 7+ years in network engineering with 2+ years in leadership.
• Proficient in BGP, OSPF, MPLS.
• Experience with Cisco networking and monitoring tools.
• CCNA or CCNP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own the full Data Center lifecycle: design, implement and optimize IT networks.
• Oversee and develop a team of network engineers, fostering a culture of high performance and collaboration.
• Evaluate and integrate emerging technologies, such as SD-WAN and zero-trust network access to enhance security and performance.
• Partner with IT teams to ensure the Data Center network architecture supports organizational security and business objectives.

Position Responsibilities

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree. Major in Information Technology, Computer Science or similar preferred.
• 7+ years of network engineering experience, with 2+ years in a team lead or leadership role.
• Proficient in routing and switching protocols, such as BGP, OSPF, and MPLS.
• Hands‑on experience with Cisco networking technologies and network monitoring tools.
• CCNA or CCNP certification preferred.
• Uline does not participate in the H-1B lottery.
