Qualifications

• Associate degree in Information Technology, Networking, Computer Science, or related field with at least 2 years of experience
• Non-degree considered if 6+ years of related experience with high school diploma or GED
• Occasional travel (0-5%); valid passport or ability to obtain one if needed

Responsibilities

• Monitor network performance and investigate alerts, resolve escalated issues with teams
• Configure and maintain network monitoring and logging to improve visibility and MTTR
• Implement and administer network security controls under established standards
• Design, implement, and document LAN/WAN solutions following standards
• Evaluate LAN topologies, routing/switching, and OS/features to meet needs
• Lead or co-lead network upgrades, create implementation plans, and execute changes
• Troubleshoot across switching, routing, wireless, and related services
• Administer network infrastructure including configuration management and documentation
• Perform backup/restore for device configurations and lifecycle management
• Enforce network security standards and participate in audits
• Support enterprise projects by owning network workstreams with stakeholders
• Develop implementation diagrams and runbooks; participate in post-implementation reviews
• Provide knowledge transfer and mentor junior engineers in troubleshooting and processes
• Pursue ongoing education to stay current on networking and security technologies
• Maintain role-relevant certifications and complete assigned training
