Job summary

Park Hill is seeking a Network Engineer to install, secure, repair, and maintain district-wide LAN, WLAN, WAN routing, switching, and voice applications. The role ensures data and network security, manages access, and supports district staff on networked equipment and services.

Reporting to Lead Network Engineer, you will design, implement, and upgrade network services, coordinate with infrastructure, and respond to emergencies. Requires Cisco certifications and strong documentation practices.

Qualifications

• Strong troubleshooting skills and TCP/IP expertise.
• Knowledge of OSI model and network protocols.
• Ability to document procedures and maintain records.
• Experience with network security and data protection.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, maintain, and oversee converged voice, video, and data networks for end-users.
• Administers district-wide network services (e.g. DNS, DHCP) for availability.
• Coordinates with Infrastructure team for continual functioning network.
• Deploy and maintain network upgrades and operations (switches, firewalls, servers).
• Manage servers and applications for emergency responders (Cisco Call Manager, Cisco Emergency Responder).
• Prepare written materials for documentation and reporting.
