Job description

We are seeking a skilled Network Engineer to design, implement, and maintain reliable network infrastructure that ensures seamless connectivity and optimal performance. The ideal candidate will manage routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs while troubleshooting complex network issues and supporting both on-premises and cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and maintain LAN, WAN, and wireless networks to ensure high availability and security.
• Monitor network performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement improvements to maintain efficiency.
• Install, configure, and support network hardware (routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, etc.).
• Manage and troubleshoot VPNs, VLANs, and routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP).
• Collaborate with system administrators and security teams to ensure compliance with IT policies.
• Perform regular network maintenance, updates, and documentation.
• Support network security initiatives, including firewall management, IDS/IPS monitoring, and access controls.
• Respond to incidents and outages, ensuring minimal downtime.
• Evaluate and recommend network solutions, hardware, and software upgrades.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 3–6 years of experience in network administration or engineering.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing, and switching.
• Hands‑on experience with Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto, or Fortinet devices.
• Familiarity with network monitoring tools (SolarWinds, Wireshark, Nagios, etc.).
• Understanding of cloud networking (AWS, Azure, or GCP) preferred.
• Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, CompTIA Network+, or equivalent are a plus.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with SD‑WAN or network automation tools (Ansible, Python).
• Knowledge of VoIP, load balancing, and network security practices.
• Strong troubleshooting and documentation skills.
