Job summary
BAE Systems is seeking a Network Engineer to install and support critical PACAF infrastructure, including SecureView and SVMS. You will image cross-domain workstations, migrate user profiles, and deploy devices for a large regional user base.
Role requires TS/SCI clearance eligibility, DoD 8570 certifications, and strong teamwork, VPN, and troubleshooting skills in a secure, on-site environment at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree + 3 years of recent specialized experience OR an Associate’s degree / Major Certification + 7 years of recent specialized experience OR 11 years of recent specialized experience
- Security+ or CISSP certification
- Network+, CCNA, or comparable DoD 8570 Computing Environment certification
- Ability to work effectively within a distributed technical team, aided by strong written and verbal communication skills
- Virtual private networking knowledge and experience - for example Cisco VPN
- Robust troubleshooting skills
- Strong customer service skills
Responsibilities
- Administer the SecureView Management Server (SVMS) and image cross-domain workstations
- Migrate user profiles and deploy devices to PACAF users
- Collaborate with a distributed technical team to support secure access to cross-domain desktops
