Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology, Inc. (GDIT) seeks a Senior Network Administrator to support the Base Infrastructure Modernization contract at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson in Alaska.

You will manage and maintain the on-site network, configure devices, and ensure availability, performance, and security across LAN/WAN. The role requires active Secret clearance, DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification, and 3+ years of related experience.

Qualifications

• Active Secret security clearance required.
• Current DoD 8570 IAT Level II (CompTIA Security+ CE or equivalent).
• 3+ years of related experience.
• Experience with hardware vendors and incident resolution.
• Knowledge of STIG patching and security activities.
• NOC/SOC operations background.
• Ability to work in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain site network devices and configurations.
• Troubleshoot performance and routing issues.
• Assist in deployment and validation of patching and upgrades.
• Provide network monitoring and collaboration with engineers.
• Maintain security and incident response support.
