Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Service Activation Engineer to support a modernization program across 4,000+ sites. You will execute and document formal acceptance testing for products and services and collaborate with Telco providers and field technicians for real-time troubleshooting and configuration.

The role requires 4+ years in enterprise networking, Cisco experience, IP troubleshooting, and knowledge of protocols such as TCP/IP, DMVPN, BGP, OSPF, and MPLS.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in an enterprise environment.
• Cisco experience required; Juniper experience is a plus.
• Experience troubleshooting IP network configurations.
• Knowledge of data protocols including TCP/IP, DMVPN, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, EIGRP, HSRP, IS-IS, LDP, PIM, MSDP, and layer 2 Ethernet.
• Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance; CCNA preferred.

Skills and Requirements

4+ years of experience related experience from an enterprise environment

Cisco experience (Juniper experience is a plus)

Experience troubleshooting IP network configurations

Domain knowledge of data protocols including TCP/IP, DMVPN, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, EIGRP, HSRP, IS-IS, LDP, PIM, MSDP, and layer 2 Ethernet.

Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance CCNA

experience with MetaSolv (database modeling software)

prior experience at AT&T, Verizon, TMobile, Comcast etc.
