Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience with a bachelors degree or 7+ years of relevant experience without a degree.
• Cisco CCNP certification level (active or expired).
• Lab test will test layer2/layer3 functions and basic Nexus switching knowledge.
• Solid BGP routing experience and Cisco switch experience (Nexus and Catalyst).
• Experience with Cisco Catalyst route/switch; knowledge of BGP routing is required.
• Willing to obtain a flu vaccine.
• Willing to be on rotation on-call shift.
• Must be able to go on-site to troubleshoot, install, repair and replace physical networking equipment.
• Valid driver's license; ability to drive >100 miles/3–4 hours; Cisco/Fortinet Firewall experience.
• Cisco/Wireless and Juniper Mist Wireless experience; Juniper Router configuration; Cisco ISE experience (2.x/3.x).

Insight Global is looking for a Senior Network Engineer that includes updating hardware required for maintenance of cloud, network, and telecommunication and any connectivity issues that could crop up, detecting system and application issues, and ensuring the smooth flow of data and voice throughout the organization. This position is remote but the network engineer must be willing to o onsite when needed onsite in Woodbride, VA and surrounding areas up to 100 miles.

Compensation: $50/hr to $68/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 1st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.

• There will be a lab test where they will have to perform layer2 and layer3 functions as well as have basic nexus switching knowledge to pass.
• Must have solid BGP routing experience as well as solid Cisco switch experience both nexus and catalyst required.
• Must have experience with Cisco Catalyst route/switch. Knowledge of BGP routing would be a must.

• Must be willing to obtain a flu vaccine
• Must be willing to be on a rotation on call shift
• Requires the ability to go on-site to perform troubleshooting, installation, repair and replacement of physical networking equipment
• Valid Drivers License – Ability to operate a motor vehicle and drive distances of greater than 100 miles/3 – 4 hours as required *Cisco/Fortinet Firewall experience
