Job summary

Qualifications

• Proven ability to design simple local area networks (LANs).
• Strong understanding of IP routing, OSI model, TCP/IP, and basic network security.
• Familiarity with DNS, DHCP, NAT, and basic OSPF/BGP routing.
• Minimum of 5 years of networking experience.
• Familiarity with Radio Frequency (RF).

Responsibilities

• Design localized network topologies, IP addressing schemes, and subnet structures.
• Plan wireless network layouts (RF Coverage) and access point placement.
• Select appropriate hardware models (routers, switches, firewalls) to meet requirements.
• Draft high-quality network design documentation and deployment checklists.
• Assist in routine maintenance and troubleshooting on RF radio systems.
• Maintain support equipment including antennas, amplifiers, power supplies and cables.
• Support RF systems for secure and non-secure communications and manage telecom hardware.
