Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/IT/Engineering or equivalent credential.
• 3–5 years of experience implementing and supporting critical network infrastructure.
• Deep understanding of LAN/WAN technologies and protocols.
• Deep understanding of wireless networking standards (802.11).
• Experience with network monitoring and alerting tools.
• Experience collaborating on cross‑functional teams and leading others.
• Proven customer service skills and urgency in incident response.
• Knowledge of IoT devices and enterprise deployments.
• Experience supporting enterprise networks.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and optimize wired and wireless campus network infrastructure.
• Serve as technical contact for university networking projects.
• Ensure secure, reliable, and highly available network infrastructure.
• Respond to issues, troubleshoot, and resolve network problems.
• Develop documentation and training for Tech Spot and end users.
• Monitor usage, capacity, and reliability of network systems.
