Vibrint, a national security technology partner, seeks a Network Engineer - Technical Expert to advance HPC capabilities across multi-vendor servers and specialized environments. • MUST HAVE datacenter network design and architecture experience to include installation and configuration of Cisco routers, switches, firewalls and IPSEC virtual private networks
• Minimum ten (10) years of demonstratable experience in network engineering (LAN), architecture, monitoring, security, and protection or fifteen (15) years minimum experience in lieu of degree
• DoD 8570 IAT II level certification
• Position requires an active TS/SCI with polygraph level clearance and US citizenship

Responsibilities

• Deliver enhanced HPC network capabilities across multi-vendor servers and clusters
• Collaborate with engineers to design, implement, and secure datacenter networks
• Configure and maintain Cisco devices, load balancers, and security appliances
• Provide on-call support and incident tracking using Remedy or similar systems

Required Skills: MUST HAVE datacenter network design and architecture experience to include installation and configuration of Cisco routers, switches, firewalls and IPSEC virtual private networks

Cisco IOS, CatOS, NxOS, filter and access control, Ciscoworks, TACACS+, ASA, FWSM, HP Openview, Cisco routers, Cisco Switches, F5/Cisco load balancers, Infiniband, Juniper, FiberChannel (FC) SAN, and VPN (IPSEC) Physical installation and configuration and troubleshooting of network routers, switches, load balancers and security devices. Strong knowledge of TCP/IP protocol stack and routing and switching protocols. Strong working knowledge of L2/L3 protocols. Strong working knowledge of stateful firewalls, and L3 access controls. Working knowledge of Atlassian Tool Suite. Able to support on-call requirements. Able to work in live call environment and utilize remedy and/or other ticketing system to track tasking. Virtualization products; VMWare and Solaris containers
