Job summary

Vibrint is seeking a Network Engineer - Technical Expert to support a high performance computing program in a national security context in the United States. The role requires an active TS/SCI with polygraph and US citizenship, with a minimum of ten years in network engineering or fifteen years in lieu of a degree.

As a Network Engineer - Technical Expert on this program, you will help deliver enhanced HPC capabilities across multi-vendor HPC servers, HPC clusters, and specialized processing environments. Required Skills
  • MUST HAVE datacenter network design and architecture experience to include installation and configuration of Cisco routers, switches, firewalls and IPSEC virtual private networks
  • Cisco IOS, CatOS, NxOS, filter and access control, Ciscoworks, TACACS+, ASA, FWSM, HP Openview, Cisco routers, Cisco Switches, F5/Cisco load balancers, Infiniband, Juniper, FiberChannel (FC) SAN, and VPN (IPSEC)
  • Physical installation and configuration and troubleshooting of network routers, switches, load balancers and security devices.
  • Strong knowledge of TCP/IP protocol stack and routing and switching protocols.
  • Strong working knowledge of L2/L3 protocols.
  • Strong working knowledge of stateful firewalls, and L3 access controls.
  • Working knowledge of Atlassian Tool Suite.
  • Able to support on-call requirements.
  • Able to work in live call environment and utilize remedy and/or other ticketing system to track tasking.
  • Virtualization products; VMWare and Solaris containers
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline

  • DoD 8570 IAT II level certification.
