Job summary
Altagrove LLC in Leesburg, VA is seeking a Network Engineer to design, deploy, and sustain secure enterprise LAN/WAN for government and commercial customers. You will configure Cisco and Juniper devices, implement IPv4/IPv6, routing protocols, VPNs, and wireless support while collaborating with cyber, systems, and cloud teams.
The role requires CCNA/CCNP level experience, a Bachelor's degree in IT or related field, and willingness to onsite work with potential travel; DoD/regulatory network
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in IT, CS, Networking or related field; equivalent experience considered.
- CCNA required; CCNP preferred; active security clearance preferred.
- On-site role with travel as required to support missions.
Responsibilities
- Design, configure, deploy, and sustain secure enterprise LAN/WAN networks.
- Install and configure Cisco and Juniper routers, switches, WLAN APs, controllers.
- Manage Layer 2/3 services, IPv4/IPv6, ACLs, VPN/IPsec, and routing protocols.
- Troubleshoot with CLI, Wireshark, SNMP, and network monitoring tools; support migrations.
- Develop diagrams, IP plans, configurations, and test procedures; collaborate with teams.
