Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a Network Engineer to design, survey, and document complex network solutions for on-prem and cloud environments.

You will work with IT, facilities, clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors to translate business requirements into structured cabling and network designs, ensuring security and scalable performance. A secret clearance is required and HS diploma or GED is minimum educational requirement.

Qualifications

• Experience with network engineering.
• Experience with commercial hardware, networks, and cloud environments.
• Experience with security, routing, and switching protocols (BGP, OSPF).
• Experience with SD-WAN.
• Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical personnel.
• Secret clearance is required.
• HS diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Perform site surveys and create structured network designs for voice, data, security, and AV systems.
• Design engineered drawings, specifications, reports, and other technical documents.
• Coordinate with IT, facilities teams, clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, vendors, and material suppliers to develop system designs, estimates, and implementation plans.
• Implement final network solutions to support on-prem and cloud environments and produce implementation documentation.
