• Partner with the NOC for monitoring, incident response, and escalation.
• Configure and manage firewalls and security appliances (Palo Alto preferred).
• Design and support site‑to‑site and remote access VPNs.
• Implement and manage Azure Virtual Networks, peering, and gateways.
• Support SD‑WAN solutions and branch connectivity.
• Contribute to SASE architecture and cloud‑based security services.
• Perform troubleshooting, capacity planning, and lifecycle management.
• Maintain network diagrams, runbooks, and SOPs.
• Participate in on‑call and after‑hours support as required.

We are seeking a skilled Network Engineer to design, implement, operate, and support enterprise network infrastructure across on‑premises and cloud environments. This role works closely with the Network Operations Center (NOC), security teams, and cloud engineers to ensure reliable, secure, and scalable connectivity. The ideal candidate has hands‑on experience with IP network design, firewalls (Palo Alto preferred), VPNs, Azure Virtual Networks, and modern networking architectures including SD‑WAN and SASE. This role is onsite 5 days a week in Coppell, TX.

Essential Job Functions

• Design, deploy, and manage enterprise network infrastructure (LAN/WAN/cloud)
• Develop and maintain IP addressing schemes, routing, and documentation
• Partner with the NOC for monitoring, incident response, and escalation
• Configure and manage firewalls and security appliances (Palo Alto preferred)

Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

• Skill in delivering responsive, high-quality customer service.
• Ability to identify and resolve problems.
• Advanced proficiency (knowledge) with Microsoft Office 365.
• Palo Alto firewall experience (Panorama, Global Protect) preferred
• Exposure to SASE solutions
• Cloud integration experience (Azure preferred)
• Meraki skills, switch specific
• Scripting or automation skills (PowerShell, Python, Terraform) preferred

PLANNED BUSINESS TRAVEL

• This job requires occasional business travel (domestic, estimated 4-5 trips per year)

Education And Experience

• High School diploma or equivalent is required. Associate or bachelor’s degree, preferred

• Combined experience in Palo Alto firewalls and stratocloud, Azure networking, and site to site connection practices of 2 or more years with education is desirable.
• Previous experience with Palo Alto firewalls and stratocloud, Azure networking preferred.
