TEK Systems is seeking a Network Engineer for an onsite, contract-to-hire role in Salina, KS. The person will support and maintain enterprise LAN/WAN infrastructure in a Cisco-based environment and join on-call rotations.

Responsibilities include monitoring, troubleshooting, upgrading, and collaborating with IT teams on projects and security initiatives while maintaining documentation and standards.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in Network Engineering, Network Administration, or a related infrastructure role.
• Experience supporting Cisco networking environments.
• Strong knowledge of network routing and switching, LAN/WAN technologies, monitoring and troubleshooting, and security best practices.
• Experience with Cisco Catalyst switching environments.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Cisco certification (CCT, CCNA, or equivalent).

Network Engineer (Contract-to-Hire)

Location: Salina, KS (Onsite)

Schedule: Monday-Friday, Day Shift (Flexible Start Time)

Employment Type: 6-Month Contract-to-Hire

Overview

Our organization is seeking a Network Engineer to support and maintain enterprise network infrastructure in a primarily Cisco-based environment. This role is responsible for network administration, troubleshooting, monitoring, upgrades, and infrastructure projects that support critical business operations.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Cisco networking technologies, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work independently while collaborating with IT teams on operational and strategic initiatives.

• Additional Cisco certifications are highly desirable.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $65.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
