We are seeking a skilled Network Engineer to provide Tier 1–3 support for network-related issues and contribute to the design, deployment, and maintenance of network infrastructure.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring reliable connectivity, maintaining documentation, and supporting cybersecurity initiatives while collaborating effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to Tier 1–3 network support requests and troubleshoot break/fix issues.
- Communicate effectively with team members and customers across varying levels of technical expertise.
- Design and implement extensions and connections to the campus network.
- Configure and deploy new or replacement network hardware and communications infrastructure.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, architecture records, and inventory logs.
- Monitor network resources for faults and traffic anomalies.
- Resolve connectivity issues between users and network resources.
- Maintain detailed change history for all network modifications.
- Support field maintenance teams with communications implementation and troubleshooting.
- Contribute to improving cybersecurity controls and threat mitigation efforts.
- Participate in threat hunting activities and support incident response.
- Manage time and resources effectively to meet project and operational deadlines.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in network engineering and support across Tier 1–3 levels.
- Strong understanding of network design, configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with network monitoring tools and performance analysis.
- Experience with maintaining documentation and inventory systems.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and practices.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
