Job summary

Point72 is seeking an experienced Network Engineering Leader in New York to design, build, and operate resilient, secure networking across office, data center, and cloud environments.

You will drive automation, observability, and infrastructure as code practices, while guiding incident response and change management to minimize disruption to global operations. A BS in a related field and 15+ years of experience are required.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in network engineering, including leadership experience
• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/Engineering or equivalent
• Strong understanding of network architecture, routing, switching, wireless, firewall, remote access, and data center networking
• Experience designing and supporting large-scale, secure, high-availability networks across office, data center, and cloud
• Experience with network automation, observability, infrastructure as code, incident response, and process improvements
• Ability to lead technical decisions, prioritize initiatives, and maintain service quality
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to reduce operational risk
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management across technical and non-technical audiences
• Commitment to the highest ethical standards

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of network engineers designing and operating resilient infrastructure
• Shape the network engineering roadmap from business priorities into scalable architecture and delivery outcomes
• Design secure, high-performance networks across office, data center, and cloud environments
• Drive automation, observability, and infrastructure as code practices to improve reliability
• Partner with Technology, Security, and business teams to deliver networking capabilities for new apps and locations
• Oversee incident response, root cause analysis, and problem management
• Guide change management for upgrades, migrations, and maintenance with minimal disruption
• Manage vendor relationships to meet performance, resilience, security, and commercial expectations
• Coach engineers through mentorship, feedback, and career development
