Job summary

Forged Fiber in Denver seeks a Project Coordinator with 1–3 years of telecom or construction experience to help track deployments and coordinate between internal teams and external partners.

You will maintain project data, validate forecasts vs actuals, support milestone reporting, and work with engineering, construction, and vendors. Proficiency with Excel, Smartsheet, MS Project, Jira is a plus; strong communication is essential.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in telecom, utilities, construction, or related fields.
• Familiarity with milestone‑driven projects and maintaining accurate project data.
• Understanding of basic project scheduling and date tracking.
• Experience with Excel, Smartsheet, MS Project, Jira, or similar tools.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Track key project milestones and maintain accurate, current status updates.
• Assist with validating forecasted vs. actual dates and identifying basic discrepancies.
• Support schedule reviews and help confirm task ownership.
• Review project updates for completeness and alignment with project scope.
• Escalate risks, delays, or missing information to senior team members.
• Serve as a communication point for internal teams and external partners.
• Assist in preparing project status summaries and milestone reports.
• Coordinate with engineering, construction, and vendor teams.
• Provide accurate data and project details to support project managers.
