Forged Fiber is seeking a motivated Project Coordinator to support network deployment and infrastructure projects. The role focuses on tracking milestones, validating forecasted vs.

actual dates, and coordinating between internal teams and external partners to ensure timely updates and accurate data. The ideal candidate has 1-3 years of experience in telecom or related fields and proficiency with Excel, Smartsheet, MS Project, Jira, or similar tools.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in telecom, utilities, construction, or related fields.
• Familiarity with milestone-driven projects and maintaining accurate project data.
• Understanding of basic project scheduling and date tracking.
• Experience with Excel, Smartsheet, MS Project, Jira, or similar tools.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Track key project milestones and maintain accurate, current status updates.
• Assist with validating forecasted vs. actual dates and identifying basic discrepancies.
• Support schedule reviews and help confirm task ownership.
• Review project updates for completeness and alignment with project scope.
• Escalate risks, delays, or missing information to senior team members.
• Serve as a communication point for internal teams and external partners.
• Assist in preparing project status summaries and milestone reports.
• Coordinate with engineering, construction, and vendor teams and provide accurate data for project managers.
