Job summary

Forged Fiber is seeking a Project Coordinator to support network deployment and infrastructure projects. You will help track milestones, validate data, and coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure on-time, accurate progress.

Ideal candidates have 1-3 years in telecom or related fields and experience with scheduling tools like Excel, Smartsheet, MS Project, or Jira. This is a full-time, on-site role with location-based pay in the United States.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in telecom, utilities, construction, or related fields.
• Familiarity with milestone-driven projects and maintaining accurate project data.
• Understanding of basic project scheduling and date tracking.
• Experience with Excel, Smartsheet, MS Project, Jira, or similar tools.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Track key project milestones and maintain current status updates.
• Validate forecasted vs. actual dates and identify basic discrepancies.
• Support schedule reviews and confirm task ownership.
• Review updates for completeness and alignment with project scope.
• Escalate risks, delays, or missing information to senior team members.
• Serve as a communication point for internal teams and external partners.
• Prepare project status summaries and milestone reports.
• Coordinate with engineering, construction, and vendor teams.
• Provide accurate data and project details to support project managers.
