Amazon Data Services, Inc. in Seattle is seeking a Network Deployment Planner to scope and plan capacity scaling projects and new network deployments across multiple data centers.

You will collaborate with supply chain, network engineers and project managers to ensure resources are available for execution. The ideal candidate has a technology background in data center networks, is autonomous, detail oriented, and possesses strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Highly autonomous and detail oriented with strong written and verbal communication.
• Experience in managing network deployment projects.
• Competent in networking principles, data center operations, and fiber solutions.

Responsibilities

• Ensure adherence to project timelines and milestones.
• Coordinate with Install/Deployment Technicians, Supply Chain, Network Engineers and PMs.
• Plan and review network capacity deployments across data center locations.
• Knowledge of cabling and optic types; follow best practices.
• Manage scope, schedule, budget, quality, risk and critical path.
